The Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) and the Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology (QEII-GSST) programs promote academic excellence during graduate programs at public-funded institutions in Ontario. Both are funded jointly through Ontario’s Ontario government and the participating institutions. The government pays two-thirds of the awards, while the university contributes one-third.

Eligibility: To to be considered eligible:
- You Must an international student enrolled in Ontario with the student study permit issued under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada). If successful, OGS International recipients living outside of Canada because of COVID-19 will be required to provide proof of their current study permit or an in-progress study permit before the funds can be granted to them.
- They have achieved a first-class standard (minimum of A-/80 percentage) for the two most recent years of studies (full-time equivalent).
- It is required to be registered in an accredited graduate school (or within an inactive period that has been approved by your graduate institution) at the close of the fall term in 2021.
Application Process:
- The OGS/QEII GSST application must be submitted before being considered for the award. Students must submit one application to get considered for OGS and QEII-GSST.
- The application should be sent to the candidate department graduate coordinator before the proper deadline for submission.
